Welcome to The IAAP International Teleconference.
IAAP hosts a bi-monthly teleconference open to all who are interested. Each teleconference has a specific topic and is hosted and focused by one or more Attunement Practitioners. This recording features the presentation portion of the call. The topic this month is “Thankfulness – The View From Above“, focused by Andrew Shier.

Introduction
I am aware of another sphere of perception and perspective opening in myself and others. It’s like standing on a mountaintop and seeing with a larger view. It has been referred to in many of the wisdom traditions in an assortment of ways: “come up hither, being in the upper room, the lightness of being, a window finished above etc.” A prerequisite for opening this window above is to embrace a spirit of thankfulness. As Uranda outlined in The Triune Ray: ” Give thanks always for all things, in all conditions… At the very instant when you fully depend on the strength of the One within, you will ascend into the high mountain.”
What is it that awaits us as when we are thankful and experience this rising up? First we are enveloped in an atmosphere that is so kind, sweet, and highly vulnerable. You and I and many others are momentarily poised to see everything anew. I find myself saying often these days how can I see this thing before me in a new way? The old stories I tell myself or lay on my observations of things and others stand out like a sore thumb. This fine atmosphere on the mountaintop compels that I wait, breathe, listen, be curious and even embrace some spontaneity! Then Knowledge is birthed that relates to Now. It’s like there is a stream of Knowledge “up here” that is just waiting to be revealed. This fine atmosphere or pneumaplasm provides the connection.
When we are thankful, a door is opened in Heaven. What comes through is a Joy to be alive and to have the wherewithal to bring something fresh, alive and practical to this world; even in the most uncomfortable of situations. More words from Uranda: “Knowledge is, and needs no getting; that wisdom is and needs no outer mind deciding…The Blessed One knows that Perfect Wisdom in action and speech is granted at the instant when the action and speech are required in manifestation.” Thankfulness reminds us of our divine birthright and the lightness of being.
