Share Attunement, Bless The World

An Update from the President

◄ by Chris Jorgensen – Gladstone, MO ►

The 2013-2014 year for IAAP has come and gone. It is a time to voice a spirit of gratefulness for all that has transpired during the last Attunement year. Perhaps it is just me, but time seems to be flying by ever so quickly these days as local and world events continue to intensify. Knowing that people are sharing Attunement around the planet lifts my heart as this creative act brings the blessings and influence of Love into the world. The primary mission of IAAP is two-fold. First, to assist those in financial need who are interested in attending Attunement Classes and Intensives. Second, to create and maintain a website that is an internet gathering place for people interested in Attunement.

Here are the specifics of the last IAAP business year. There was $5,307 in the check book on July 1, 2014 (start of the new year); $1885 donated in this last year. I am immensely thankful for these donations that support IAAP and its Attunement endeavors. This amount was contributed by a small number of people which moves me to say a word to encourage others to make a donation. Donations can be made on the website by using Paypal or by mailing a check to the International Association of Attunement Practitioners (IAAP), P.O. Box 28574, Kansas City, MO 64188-8574.

Expenses fall into in two categories. Operating costs amount to approximately $1,000 per year. This includes postal stamps, P.O. Box rental, registration of the Corporation, website (hosting, cost of plug-ins, etc.), and accounting fees for filing (non-profit) taxes. In the last year, there were nine scholarships granted by the Board to individuals attending Attunement functions in New England and Kansas City. The total amount for the scholarships was $2,460.

Currently there are approximately 140 people registered with the IAAP website. People can sign up (at no cost) for notification of upcoming Attunement events that are transpiring in New England, the Kansas City area, and the Loveland/Fort Collins area of Colorado, and to be notified of new blog articles conveying Attunement experiences and insight. Last year IAAP hosted six international teleconference calls and will continue to host bi-monthly calls in the year to come. There are three Attunement Radiation Teams: one in New England facilitated by Liz Turner (daily 9 a.m. and p.m. est), one in KC facilitated by me (daily 8 a.m. cst), and a text-only Emergency (as needed) Radiation Team coordinated by Tom Hansen. Liz turner (lizfturner@gmail.com) also coordinates and shares a bi-monthly long-distance Attunement teleconference call with Joseph Antell. All of these Teams work with people and situations in their local regions as well as with events in the larger world.

Everyone is invited to participate in Attunement in whatever manner is right for each one. As President I am glad to be able to share an overview of IAAP as it is today. If there are questions about IAAP please contact me at chrisj@heartattune.com or Tom Hansen at tom@living-arts.com.

Blessings,
Chris Jorgensen
