The Blessing of Attunement Retreat

◄ by Bonnie Jo Radasch – Charlemont, MA ►

The recent retreat in Hancock, NH provided by Paul Price and Andrew Shier offered a beautiful opportunity to immerse in Attunement for 3-days. We gathered in an extraordinary mountaintop setting in an equally amazing octagonal room with windows all around. Each person, with their own personal stories and geography, shared threads that wove into the tapestry of our time together. A particular consciousness was built from the first moments of entering the space. Paul and Andrew facilitated with open hearts, willing to be fully present in each moment unfolding, just as it was, inviting those gathered to do the same. A radiation moved through the group and beyond to others who were “present” by mental thought or spoken word.

In my experience, for three days there was very little “outside” that could pull my attention away from the current being generated in this gathering. Whether we were sharing Attunements or sharing in other ways, the container kept building, strengthening and expanding throughout the time we were there.

In the days that have followed the retreat, I realized the container we shared is now reflected in my own Being – I feel enriched. There is an increased understanding of my personal balance point of inward and outward focus, and a deeper knowing of the importance of keeping conscious contact with the light that is within and around us all – our radiance.

Paul and Andrew provided what all good mentors do – the space to unbend from the pretzel shapes we can sometimes assume as we are being of the world rather than Being in it (with our light). They allowed the moments unfolding to inform and move, and they were part of the participant group gathered, not standing apart from the tapestry but weaving themselves into it, creating a deeply palpable sense of Oneness. Attunement gatherings are always beautiful, unique, supportive, informative, and deeply nourishing. Multiply that by 3 days and you may begin to sense the experience that was this special retreat. There is great Gratitude for these experiences, the many ways in which they occur, and those who bring themselves to share and weave.
