Share Attunement, Bless The World

Update from the President

• by Chris Jorgensen, Gladstone, MO •

We are now in the 2016-2017 fiscal year (July 1 to June 30) for IAAP. I am most thankful for the many individuals around the world who are actively sharing Attunement in their lives with themselves, friends, clients, and challenging circumstances. The world of human activity continues to quicken in pace and intensity, in feeling energy and unending streams of information, as well as in both contentious and friendly relationships. Knowing that there is an Attunement Community blessing all of this with the Radiation of Love fills my heart with gratitude. And importantly, Attunement opens a vibrational door whereby the light of the consciousness of Being and the undeniable potency of spiritual expression can be shared by anyone who is longing to know the truth of themselves.

The primary mission of IAAP is two-fold. First, to assist those in financial need who are interested in attending Attunement Classes and Events. Second, to create and maintain a website that provides a point of Light on the internet and contains resources and information for people interested in Attunement.

Before I mention the details of IAAP activities, I want to thank Erin Rivers for joining the IAAP Board of Trustees in the last year. Her presence and contribution is much appreciated.

Here are the specifics of the last IAAP business year. There was $2,800 in the checkbook on July 1, 2016. IAAP received $2760 in donations in the last year. Thank you to all who made a donation to support IAAP. Donations can be made on the website by using Paypal or by mailing a check to the International Association of Attunement Practitioners (IAAP), c/o Chris Jorgensen, 1600 Genessee St., #502, Kansas City, MO 64102.

I want to acknowledge those who have contributed to the scholarship fund. The list includes, Diana Gilbert, Joseph Antell, Leon Tauscher, Joyce Ellenbecker, Susan Johnson, Athena Coleman, Heartland Attunement, Karin Schou, Leia Meryt, Joan Elizabeth, Elizabeth Turner, Andrew Shier, Alan & Jean Hammond, The Barbour Family Foundation, Diana deWinton, Ellen Miller, Barbara Starr, Holly Best, and Brendan McMahon. Thank you all. Through your generosity the scholarship fund has been restored to useability!

Expenses fall into two categories. Operating costs amounted to approximately $850 last year. This includes postal stamps, registration of the Corporation, website (hosting, cost of plug-ins, etc.), PayPal fees, Uber Teleconference hosting fees, and accounting fees for filing (non-profit) taxes. In the last year, there were only two individual scholarships given because funds were low. The total amount of scholarships was $500.

Currently there are approximately 165 people registered with the IAAP website. People can sign up at no cost for email notifications. IAAP sends notices of upcoming Attunement events that are transpiring in New England, the Kansas City area, the Kalispell, Montana area, and the Loveland/Fort Collins area of Colorado. Notices are also sent when new blog articles conveying Attunement experiences and insights are published, as well as notification of upcoming teleconferences.

Last year IAAP hosted six international teleconference calls and will continue to host bi-monthly calls in the year to come. The next Sunday morning IAAP teleconference call will be on July 17th. Also, Liz Turner (lizfturner@gmail.com) and Joseph Antell coordinate and share a bi-monthly, long-distance Attunement teleconference call.

There are three Attunement Radiation Teams: one in New England facilitated by Liz Turner (daily 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. est), one in Kansas City facilitated by me (daily 8 a.m. cst), and a text-only as-needed Emergency Radiation Team coordinated by Tom Hansen. All of these Teams work with people and situations in their local regions as well as with events in the larger world.

So, you are invited to participate in Attunement in whatever manner is right and fitting for you. As President, I am glad to be able to share this overview of IAAP as it is today. If there are questions about IAAP please contact me at chrisj@heartattune.com or Tom Hansen at tom@living-arts.com or Erin Rivers at e.rivers@att.net.
