with Joseph Antell
Welcome to The IAAP International Teleconference.
IAAP hosts a bi-monthly teleconference open to all who are interested. Each teleconference has a specific topic and is hosted and focused by one or more Attunement Practitioners. This recording features the presentation portion of the call. The topic this month is “Opening the Window of Heaven”, focused by Joseph Antell.
The Teleconference schedule is posted on the IAAP calendar of events, and each post includes the call-in phone number and PIN. Please feel free to join in as you are able – these discussions generate a wonderful range of fine spiritual substance. As the Attunement Community, we share a common ground with others who love what we love, and as we nourish the world around us then we are nourished. The Attunement Community meets in this place of sanctuary. We hope you enjoy this teleconference recording.
Introduction
I have been meditating and praying on our work as Attunement practitioners. What stands out to me is the wonder of the Attunement process and it’s ease of bringing the energy of Love into the world. I was taught and always referred to this as “opening the window of heaven”. This is a natural and familiar extension of Being freely available to everyone. The pure current of life coming “all the way through” and filling the momentary experience with the heart of Love and kindness is truly humbling.
I recently attended my future son-in-law’s graduation and the commencement ceremony of Osteopathic Physicians. A Greek Orthodox priest offered the invocation. He exquisitely opened the window of heaven and filled the room with a great peace. He made it clear that we are all healers and that our purpose in this lifetime is to pray continually in whatever way is natural to each one. This human experience requires compassion and unprecedented strength in order to receive both joy and sorrow, standing in the place that accepts both but is unmoved by either.
It is time to let the blessing of heaven enter through the space between joy and sorrow so that we may bring comfort to the world. This brought to mind the words from the Bible in the book of Malachi (3:10). “Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it”.
