The Attunmement Practitioner’s Code, Part I

by Gary and Sandy Ragan

The Attunement Practitioner’s Code: "Even as I was made in the image and likeness of the Great One so also was every person whose lives I may touch. I respect the divinity inherent in all living forms." For me this has been very powerful because it’s a daily reminder, whether I am in an Attunement session with someone or in my "everyday" life (home with my own kids or with other children), to remember to be humble and thankful. It’s also a reminder that every person in front of you is an angel, that that person is there to help move the current in their own special way. When you are in that place where there is no judgment, you feel such great joy; you know when you’ve reached that point that people will seek you out. I try to remember this especially when I’m driving, people dart in and out, speed, or cut you off. From the place of being in the Attunement current, when these things happen, I can focus and I say "There’s my angel for today", and so I bless them. For whatever reason they were supposed to cut in front of me, I’m blessing them. And the same thing when the rescue workers, the fire trucks or the policemen come flying by, or the teenager who is going 90 miles an hour. I let everything be a little blessing. You see memorials to humans along the roadside around here: when I see these I bless the person so that he or she may go on. I also give a blessing as I approach and notice dead animals along the road, so they can move on too.

Gary Ragan: "Even as the dignity of life is precious to me so also is it to others. I will not physically, emotionally or in any other way abuse those who place their trust in me. I am open to hear both favorable and unfavorable comments about the quality of my service."

I’ve learned so much from today and while I have this time I say thanks to those people who have brought this new information forward.

I’m very blessed to have my own Attunement practice, and occasionally as people are on my table and I am in the radiation with them, the current will bring to the surface emotions or issues that are going on in that individual’s life. While in that emotional state, those individuals are most vulnerable to suggestions or thoughts that I may have. I do my best to honor the process and to trust that the current will take care of anything that needs to be done, so that I do not reach into my own conscious thoughts and try to make suggestions or comments that are not of the Truth. Staying in consciousness, what happens almost inevitably is that, if there is something that needs to come forth from me, I will hear myself speaking and yet not really have a clue what it is that I am saying. And when I am finished I do not remember what I said. It’s always fun because clients will ask, "Would you repeat that for me?", and I’ll struggle to try to put things back together. But now I know that I’m in the conscious flow of the Great One and it is an amazing and beautiful thing to be in that state or place.

The second part of this section of the code is that I am ìopen to hear both favorable and unfavorable commentsî. Whenever I have people come into my world and share an Attunement for the first time, I will ask how it felt, as if I didnít know whether they felt anything. What I have to remember is that it matters notóit makes no difference and itís no reflection on me at any level, because I know Iíve done the radiant work of the Lord, and whether they ìfeltî it or did not is irrelevant. In such situations Iím always open to receiving comments, suggestions or criticisms, particularly from those who have been in the current for a little bit longer time; Iím open to that and understand that itís not personal, that itís literally the radiation of love and assistance helping me become all the Being that I am.

"Even as the all Great Spirit has been patient and generous with me in my process of maturing in statute and nobility so also am I patient and generous with others. I do not give undue weight to the distortions I may perceive around me." Andrew touched on that just a moment ago. I found it beautiful when he spoke about how silly it would be on my part to judge somebody else, when for years Iíve had things rattling around in my own cage, keeping me penned in and not allowing my Being to express. And sometimes people come into my world and continue to return with those same issues over and over again, despite suggestions or ideas I may share with them. How silly it would be of me to lose my patience or think less of them, or radiate less into the world. that whether it is teaching classes or working with people who come into my office, or being with my next-door neighbor, I am always speaking from the heart and the truth. At other times in my life it might not have been that way, and I might not have understood that each time I was less than truthful, I was giving up a piece of my spirit and my soul. In my youth, to survive I became aloof and chose to tell half-truths; even when I met my wife I was still less than truthful. What a waste of my spirit and soul that was! But now I recognize every opportunity as a chance to share truth about yourself, about the radiation process and about life. Itís been a wonderful blessing. In the classes I teach, people often ask me "Where did you get this information, where did Attunement come from", and Iím very excited to be able to point them in the direction in which I was able to find truth in my life.
