Poetry: One Language of My Subconscious

I have never considered myself a poet, and poetry has never been high on my reading list. Yet, on three separate occasions, while letting things clarify in myself through the Attunement current, poems have come to my consciousness fully written, demanding to be put on paper. They have expressed thoughts I hadn't been able to put into words, either to myself or as a way of explaining things to others. They are a reminder of centeredness and oneness with others. I share one of them here as thoughts that have come direct from my subconscious:

Thoughts from the Attunement Practitioner’s Course

Although I have received Attunement from Chris Jorgensen for several years, it is now time for me to become a student. And so, I have the privileged opportunity to experience the Attunement Practitioner's Course taught by Chris and Donna Jorgensen in early 2009. Here is one particular Attunement story that I shared in class

Following the second Attunement class my wife, Carol, asked if I would “do Attunement” on her. Of course I would love to and did. During this Attunement experience something really wonderful transpired. Carol was sitting on the couch. Our two young children, Christopher 4 1/2 and Caroline 2 1/2, were playing in the room along with our 85-pound dog, Yukon, and standard size black cat, Frodo. I thought this would be a great opportunity to share the Over-the-Head technique with Carol since she was already sitting on the couch. As with most young families, our lives are usually very busy with the children, and any kind of stationary position is a blessing. I began with balancing the Cervical Life Pattern and then moved into balancing the first four endocrine glands. About half way through the endocrine hand positions, both children, our huge dog, and cat all came over and snuggled up with Carol on the couch simultaneously like someone rang the dinner bell. Caroline snuggled in her lap, Christopher cuddled on her left side, Yukon the dog nuzzled on her right with paws and head touching, and Frodo, the cat, curled up on the right side. This was a first! Carol welcomed the entire family with open snuggly arms. As I continued through the Overthe- Head and Central Sulcus techniques into the Attunement closing and blessing, we had the most peaceful and unifying current of Love. It was true beauty. We experienced a 20- minute family hug!
